Abstract
Presentation by Catherine Downey and Amy Eklund at GALILEO Annual Conference, June 14, 2023. "Two GGC librarians discussed their Digital Humanities Sandbox Project involving the preservation of student newspaper articles in General Space, GGC's Institutional Repository. (General Space makes use of GALILEO's costshare agreement for the hosting of DSpace, and the repository content is harvested and made available in the GALILEO Knowledge Repository. Considerations for inclusion in the Digital Library of Georgia were expored. Challenges, opportunities, and future goals of the project were shared, in hopes of inspiring and/or connecting with others seeking to utilize institutional repositories as sources of digital humanities work."
