Abstract

Presentation by Amy Eklund, Andres Cardona, and Joye Cauthen at Georgia Library Association's Research and Assessment Interest Group Lightning Talks on DEI and Assessment, August 2, 2024. "Georgia Gwinnett College librarians described their project to assess how well the library's collection supports a set of DEI-related courses, identify and fill gaps in holdings, and explore the potential to enhance catalog records. The team analyzed course catalogs, collected syllabi from faculty, compared assigned readings to existing collections, and plans to order and market new materials. The presentation summarized project activities and findings to date and explore implications for future collection development strategies."
